How much you are still in our lives Friday, 23 September 2011 18:05 | Written by eli | | | There are times after someones death that hurt is so strong it feels like you have lost them all over again. But there are also times when you feel a warmth as if they are not really gone..but just in a place where you cant see them.I'm filled more lately with that warmth because I really do believe that your touching alot of whats going on around us.And thats a good feeling. You can only be happy with how your company has continued to grow and the way Vicki, mom and I have worked to get a strong positive image of you company seen by everyone. My only hope is that when I move on that my impact could be as powerful on the people I touch that yours was in your life.

New Year- New Goal Friday, 07 January 2011 03:11 | Written by eli |
| |

We have started a new goal and we have exciting plans for how to reach it. M&O Systems, Inc. is sponsoring our walkathon in NYC on April 9th starting at 11:00.So far we have plans to start the walk at 40 Fulton Street and do a10 block square from that point. The walk would include incredible views of NYC down cobble stone streets, along the river and next to the Brooklyn Bridge. We are going to check out our walk to make sure it’s everything we want before setting the exact route. Meanwhile keep an eye out for the sign up form that will be posted within a week or so. Thanks for all your support and know that every cent went to Bladder Cancer research and that was incredible!

Time Tuesday, 15 June 2010 17:28 | Written by eli | | | As the 15th of a new month comes again.Reminding me how long it's been since I talked to you or gave you a hug. I can only write that I'm holding on to the thought that you are not gone and always with me..I hear things that you would say and gain strength in things you taught me.The kids have even found a peace by talking about you and sharing stories and wisdom past to them by you.You are all around me and I can feel it.It doesn't take away the quiet sadness that I carry but it does allow me to smile and continue living life the way you would want me to.I love you Dad!!!

A Kind and Fine Gentleman Friday, 16 April 2010 23:59 | Written by Robert |
| | I remember Robert Miningham with great fondness.  In addition to being a kind and fine gentleman he was father to one of my favorite people, "Lisa Marie."  My prayers are with the family.

His spirit lives on. Friday, 16 April 2010 03:01 | Written by Robert |
| | We were sad to hear the news of Bob's passing. He fought so hard for so long! What strength he had! The "Seize the ribbon" legacy created by Elisabeth is such a fitting tribute to him. I know he was so proud of her!  His family meant so much to him, and it was obvious that he cherished every moment he spent with them. And I'm sure that Bob realized how lucky he was to have such a wonderful family that loved him so much!

Our deepest sympathy goes out to his entire family.

| | Every day I try to smile!

Every day I try to say hi!

I try not to complain..and I try to be the best person I can be.

Sometimes it's just too hard!

I need to cry and scream and hide away!

But then I try to smile and i really do!

I try to say hi and i really want to.

Sometimes being the best person you can be is being true to yourself!

Dr.Phillips reseach and what they are doing Monday, 04 April 2011 20:44 | Written by eli |
| | Dr John Phillips explanation for what they are doing-

Our research focuses on molecules that are abnormally regulated in bladder

cancer cells and may be targets for therapy.  A new class of compounds called

TKIs can be used to inhibit proteins that are too active in bladder cancer by

shutting down the proteins' ability to increase cancer gene expression.  The

TKIs promise to be more specific than traditional chemotherapy and may have a

preferred role in patients whose cancers have the very proteins the TKIs are

designed to target.  Our work is so called 'translational investigation' because

careful discoveries in the laboratory are intended to lead to the development of

new treatments in the clinic.

Donations

Thanks to the generous donations received by Seize The Ribbon we are able to donate $4,000.00 to the Bladder Cancer research lead by Dr. John Phillips in Westchester N.Y. This was half of our goal but for a foundation conceived in 2010 it was great! Now I ask you to join me in getting the word out about our foundation/website and help us to make our new goal of $10,000.00 by December 25,2011. I have already received the first hundred toward our 2011 goal. We are making a difference and please look for updates on how the money is being used by the research team. Happy New Year and Thank You!
